Sewer Foamies: Cheriton Light Festival

Posted: March 11, 2014

On Feb 22 and 23, 2014, Assocreation presented “Sewer Foamies“, a new ground penetrating public art piece developed for the Cheriton Light Festival in Folkestone, UK.

In this installation, illuminated foam oozes out of the drains ready for pedestrians to interact with. This foam-spill, for which Assocreation also collaborated with SWAMP, highlights the moments our urban environment is out of control – when culture and nature act like two dispersed media – two media that do not mix and create a foamy substance instead.
