Runway

Site-specific urban intervention. Sidewalk, red paint, modified radar speed sign. Runway transforms a section of a sidewalk into an interactive running, play, and exercise track. Bump

Telematic installation. Moving boards, sensors, pneumatically operated pistons and internet.

This installation is composed of two interactive sidewalks that are set up in a public place in two different cities. With every step on the planks, an impulse is triggered and digitally transferred to the other city. The respective boards in that city then rise a few centimetres and vice versa.
